Live online AI training: how it works and why it helps
There are thousands of recorded AI tutorials. Many people start one, get stuck on step four, and never finish. Live online classes solve a different problem: they give you a teacher, a structure and a reason to turn up.
Recorded courses vs live classes
Recorded courses are cheap, flexible and useful for reference. Their weakness is that they cannot see you. When the tool on your screen looks different from the video (which, with AI tools that change every few weeks, happens a lot), or when you do not understand why something did not work, you are on your own.
Live AI classes online work differently. You join a video call at a set time with a teacher and a small group. The teacher demonstrates on a shared screen, you can try it yourself straight away, and when something unexpected happens you can ask. The fixed time also helps with the hardest part of learning anything: actually doing it.

What happens in a live AI class
Each session at {SITE{'}'} follows a simple pattern. There is a short explanation of the idea for the session, in plain English. Then a live demonstration, followed by time to try it on your own device with a real task, if you want to. After that we look at results together, including what went wrong and why, which is often where the most useful learning happens. Sessions finish with a recap and a small thing to try before next time.
Groups are kept small, so there is time for everyone’s questions and nobody gets lost at the back. You can have your camera on or off, and there are no tests or marks.
Not a webinar
It is worth being clear about this, because the words get used loosely. A webinar is usually one presenter talking to a large, muted audience, with a few typed questions answered at the end. The classes here are the opposite: a fully interactive live course where everyone is welcome to ask questions at any time, out loud or in the chat, and where you can spend much of each session trying things on your own screen. All lessons are taught in English.
Group classes or one-to-one?
Group classes suit most people. They follow a structured seven-session course, you benefit from other people’s questions (someone always asks the thing you were wondering), and they cost less per session. There are two levels: the beginner course and the intermediate course.
Private one-to-one sessions suit people who want to focus entirely on their own work or business, prefer to learn at their own pace, need help with a particular tool or project, or want to prepare for something specific. You choose what we cover.
What you need for live online AI training
- A laptop or desktop computer is ideal. A second screen is nice but not necessary.
- A web browser and a reasonably stable internet connection.
- Headphones help, but are not essential.
- Free accounts for the AI tools we use, which we set up together.
How to choose good AI classes online
- Is it live? Check that there is a real teacher you can ask, not just a video library.
- Is it the right level? A good beginner course should not assume any technical knowledge.
- Is it practical? You should spend a good part of each session doing, not just watching.
- Does it cover safety? Fact-checking and privacy should be part of the course, not an afterthought.
- Is it tool-neutral? Be wary of “training” that is mostly a sales pitch for one product.
- Can you try it first? A free or low-cost first session lets you see whether the teaching style suits you.
